On top of its first trip to March Madness, the women’s basketball team made a different kind of Final Four. New America, a Washington think tank, pitted NCAA Tournament participants against each other based on team GPA, and the Bulls were among the last teams standing, along with UConn, DePaul and Stanford.
On the men’s tennis courts, senior Sergio Arevalillo won his 100th career match in April. If the Spaniard keeps serving it up, he’ll be within striking distance of the Bulls top-10 combined wins list.
