The Buffalo News reports that UB's Helen Domske helped
develop a detailed report on the life histories, behaviors and
ecosystem impacts by four species of the invasive Asian carp.
"Asian carp pose a real threat to the ecosystem health of the Great
Lakes," said Domske, associate director of the Great Lakes Program
at UB. "This report provides valuable information including
biology, management and educational resources to help concerned
citizens learn more about these unwanted fish."
