When Covid-19 shut down the entertainment industry earlier this year, Michael Deeb Weaver, BFA '08, made the decision to pivot from a career as a professional dancer and actor in New York City to a one as an educator - a choice that brought him back to his hometown of Buffalo and a position as a faculty member in UB's Department of Theatre & Dance. This webinar will discuss how artists' resilience helps navigate through even the most uncertain of times, and how a love of one's art can lead to unforeseen opportunities.
