Tools for Analyzing Data in Microsoft Excel

Narrow down your data to help analyze and answer complex questions using tools available in Microsoft Excel.

During this three-hour class, we will explore sorting and filtering and conditional formatting. We will also discover how to create and modify PivotTables and PivotCharts that take large data sets and narrow down the results to simple tables and charts. This class is offered at least once a quarter.

UB faculty and staff

Prerequisites

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and experience with creating, editing, formatting, saving and printing basic workbooks or, attended the Introduction to Microsoft Excel class
