PowerPoint Basics

New to PowerPoint? This class is geared towards the Microsoft PowerPoint beginner and will help you learn to create and modify basic presentations. 

This three-hour class is designed to introduce those that are new to the program as well as those that use the program on a limited basis. You will explore options that will help increase the impact of your presentation by adding text boxes and pictures and customizing the look and feel.  This class is offered at least once a quarter.

Intended Audience

UB faculty and staff

Prerequisites

Familiarity with basic computer operation, including the use of a mouse and keyboard and completion of the ‘Become Familiar with Microsoft Office 2010’ eLearning class before attending the session (will be emailed one week prior to class)
