Be a UB Community Advocate

Many UB employees are feeling a little uncomfortable about returning to campus. Our co-workers and peers can provide great relief at times like this. Can you help spread UB’s COVID-19 safety messages and lower risk? If so, consider volunteering to be a UB Community Advocate.

UB Community Advocates will serve as important visible representatives of the university to assist and answer questions related to UB's COVID-19 health and safety practices.

UB Community Advocates will help us by:

  • Serving as a source of information to promote the university’s expectations for reopening during COVID-19
  • Encouraging face mask/covering usage
  • Encouraging physical distancing
  • Distributing COVID-19 packets that include masks, gloves and hand sanitizer upon request

UB Community Advocates will be invited to participate in a training to learn about the program and their responsibilities.
