Find SUNY and RF Policies in UB Policy Library

Published November 16, 2016

SUNY and RF policies recognized as the authoritative source for a particular subject are included in the UB Policy Library.

Overview

The University at Buffalo operates under several sets of policies, including:

  • State University of New York (SUNY) Policies of the Board of Trustees
  • SUNY University-wide Policies and Procedures
  • Research Foundation (RF) Policies
  • applicable state and federal laws
  • internally developed and approved policies

In some instances, UB does not have an internally developed policy for a particular subject, but recognizes a SUNY or RF policy as the authoritative source. When this occurs, the specific SUNY or RF policy is listed in the UB Policy Library, clearly identified with the seal of the cognizent authority. Including these SUNY and RF policies in the UB Policy Library provides a direct link to the policy and ensures that the most current version of the policy is available.
