Requesting Accommodation

The University at Buffalo is committed to providing equal access to individuals with disabilities, including physical access to programs and reasonable accommodations for members of the University community. Accessibility Resources (AR) coordinates reasonable accommodations so that individuals with disabilities can access and benefit from all programs, services, and activities of the university. For Students

AR coordinates requests for accommodation from students. To get started with the process, please contact us to arrange an initial meeting. Meetings may take place in person, over the phone or online, as needed. If you require accommodations for the meeting, please let us know while making your appointment. AR staff uses a variety of information sources to help determine if a request for accommodation is reasonable. This information is usually provided at the initial meeting and/or during a follow-up period of review. Sources of information include but are not limited to:
