Interpreting and CART Services
Accessibility Resources provides interpreting services for deaf students. Services include sign language interpreters and Computer Assisted Realtime Captioning (CART). Services must be requested through the Office of Accessibility Resources.
Students should submit interpreter/CART requests for their courses at least six weeks before the semester begins to help ensure availability. Requests for one-time events like instructor office hours, meetings or group work should be made one week in advance whenever possible. The office should also be informed of any absences or schedule changes that would affect services. Contact Holly Johnson, the Auxiliary Aids and Services Coordinator to make a request.
If you have any questions about interpreting accommodations and services, please do not hesitate to contact Holly Johnson, the Auxiliary Aids and Services Coordinator at 645-2608.
