Program Description

The biostatistics concentration under the Public Health MPH program prepares students to use statistical techniques in scientific studies to identify the causes of diseases and injuries, evaluate public health programs, and design mathematical models that describe the progression of diseases in populations. Students gain foundational public health knowledge and skills to address current and emerging public health issues across the globe from expert faculty at New York’s premier, research-intensive university dedicated to academic excellence and making a positive impact on the world.
