The MyUB search now yields more specific and more valuable results. We have improved MyUB's search function to better serve the needs of the UB community.

How is the search changing?

Instead of a lengthy list of exact-word matches, you will see results grouped by categories that enable you to identify the results that match your query more efficiently.

The search also includes results that are more specific to your role in UB campus life. Whether you are a student, faculty member, or part of UB's staff, the search results will reflect information that will be the most useful to you.

What categories will appear in my search results?

A search in MyUB will return results that are grouped in a way that is similar to the main eUB search. Your search will return results in the following fields:

• MyUB (produces results only from MyUB)
• Buildings at UB (campus maps and directions)
• People at UB (faculty, staff, and student contact information)
• Departments at UB (departmental directory and contact information)
