championship National Lacrosse League team.
Buffalo has also hosted several major tournaments, including the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament regionals, the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship and the NCAA Frozen Four.
Our own UB Bulls compete in the NCAA Division I Mid-American Conference.
Many other area schools also have active collegiate sports
programs, including Buffalo State College, Canisius College,
Niagara University and St. Bonaventure University.
