Undergraduate Learning Academies

Two undergraduate learning academies—one devoted to research, the other to civic engagement, areas that have been identified as strategic strengths of UB—are making their debuts this year. A third academy—devoted to an international theme and drawing on the university’s recognized strengths as an in-ternational university—is set to open in fall 2008. Together, they’re part of a larger effort by the university to increase investment in excellence in undergraduate education and make more meaningful each student’s undergraduate experience.
