Roland Bergler, DDS 1970 & Robert Gianadda, DDS 1970, have expanded their practice, the Western New York Dental Group PC, by acquiring Dental Associates of Rochester. The group was founded by Bergler and Gianadda in 1972. Bergler resides in Tonawanda, NY; Gianadda resides in Buffalo, NY.

Sam Manfer, MBA 1971 & BS 1969, earned the certified speaking professional designation from the National Speakers Association and the International Federation of Professional Speakers. Manfer is a sales consultant and author with more than a decade of speaking and consulting experience. He lives in Laguna Nigel, CA.

Bruce Zgoda, BS 1972, was selected by the U.S. Treasury Department to serve on the IRS taxpayer advocacy panel. In this volunteer position, he will help improve IRS service and customer satisfaction. Zgoda is a certified public accountant and resides in Clarence, NY.

Ronald Fatoullah, BA 1973, was selected as one of the “Best Trusts and Estate Lawyers” in the New York area by New York magazine. He is principal of Ronald Fatoullah & Associates and has offices in Long Island, Queens and Brooklyn, NY. Fatoullah lives in Great Neck, NY.

*Linda Wagner, BA 1974, has been named director of media relations and public affairs for the Associated Press. Previously, she served as director of public relations at the Brooklyn Historical Society and freelanced for numerous radio stations. She resides in Dobbs Ferry, NY.

Gary Muldoon, JD 1976, has written his fourth book, Family Law for New York Paralegals, published by LexisNexis. He was also named dean of the Academy of Law for the Monroe County Bar Association for 2007, and is partner with Muldoon & Getz. Muldoon lives in Fairport, NY.

Steven E. Rothke, BA 1976 & BA 1976, was elected president of the Illinois Psychological Association for 2007–2008. He is a consulting psychologist and also serves as an expert witness in cases of psychological injury. Rothke resides in Morton Grove, IL.

Renee Gietz, BA 1978, was hired as director of operations at the Child Care Resource Network, a not-for-profit agency that helps parents find child-care options and trains child-care providers. Gietz resides in Grand Island, NY.

Margaret Grayson, BS 1978, was appointed to serve on the audit committee of the board of AtheroGenics Inc., a pharmaceutical company focused on the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases. Grayson is president of AEP Government Solutions Group and executive vice president and general manager of AEP Networks. She lives in Cooperstown, NY.

*William Grobe, EdD 1978 & BA 1969, is associate professor in the department of educational leadership, College of Education, at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. He was granted tenure in 2006 and resides in Winterville, NC.

Mary Lou Tarquini de la Plante, MA 1978, has received the Gretchen E. Stringer Award–2006 volunteer administrator of the year from the Volunteer Administrators of Western New York. She is the assistant director of community relations and volunteer services at the Schofield Residence in Tonawanda, NY. Tarquini de la Plante resides in Williamsville, NY.

Ronald Terry, BS 1978, was promoted to senior vice president in the corporate services department at New York Life Insurance Company. Previously, he served as first vice president and lives in Dix Hills, NY.
