A picture-perfect autumn day in Western New York contributed to another successful Homecoming weekend, October 6–7, 2006.
Among the popular events and activities was UB’s first “Dodge Bull” (dodgeball) Tournament, which brought 13 teams of students, staff and friends together on the officially sanctioned field on Friday night. During the UB Alumni Association’s pregame tent party on Saturday, trivia games and a chicken wing–eating contest brought out competitors in droves, not to mention those who vied to most clearly say “Go UB Bulls” with a mouthful of marshmallows!
The Bulls met Ball State for the annual football game, and the half-time show featured a “Mass Band” made up of six high school marching bands accompanying UB’s “Thunder of the East,” under the direction of Frank Cipolla, UB professor emeritus of music.
Make your plans now to join us in October for Homecoming 2007.
