The UB School of Social Work held its annual alumni-student event March 23 in Goodyear Hall on the South Campus. Director of Athletics Warde Manuel was the featured speaker for the group of 40, who also included social work faculty. Manuel received his MSW from the University of Michigan in 1993, and spoke about how his background in the field has contributed to his success.
The event also included an opportunity for students to network with alumni and make important connections for the future.
