Ram Krishnamurthy, MS 1995, is a principal research engineer of the microprocessor technology labs with Intel Corporation's corporate technology group in Hillsboro, OR, where he leads the high-performance and low-voltage circuits research group. Krishnamurthy also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Oregon State University, holds 47 patents and has published more than 75 papers. He lives in Portland, OR.
Peter Gizzi, PhD 1997, was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship for his distinguished achievement and exceptional promise. He is one of 186 artists, scholars and scientists selected from the United States and Canada ; the $37,000 award will allow him to take a year off from teaching and focus on completing a volume of poetry. Gizzi's poetry collections include S ome Values of Landscape and Weather, Artificial Heart and Periplum. His poems have been anthologized in various publications, appeared in different countries and been translated into several languages. Gizzi resides in Holyoke, MA.
