Courtney Goldstein, JD 2000, has been named managing director for the Los Angeles, CA, office of Major, Hagen & Africa. She focuses her practice on foreclosures, bankruptcy and commercial litigation. Goldstein is a member of the Commercial Law League of America, the American Bar Association and the Cornell Club of Los Angeles. She resides in Los Angeles.

Sonia Malfa, MA 2000, is the program director for the Association of Independent Video and Filmmakers in New York, NY. She has a broad range of experience in the independent media arts field and has centered her work on building bridges between community and the arts. Malfa lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Tracy Bellerdine, BPS 2001, is chair of Ignite, a group for young professionals in Auburn, NY. She is an architect with Beardsley Design Associates, where she works with a team of engineers, interior designers and landscape architects to coordinate and complete projects. Bellerdine resides in Auburn.

Stephanie Burke, MSW 2001, has been named manager/mentor of NiGlow Waiver by Hillside Children's Center, a family and children services organization providing child welfare, mental health and youth development across Central and Western New York. In this position, she will ensure that NiGlow Waiver services are delivered in full compliance with all regulatory requirements. Burke lives in Bergen, NY.

Ryan Chiodo, BA 2001, has announced the formation of Chiodo & Associates, a full-service real estate company based in Bonita Springs, FL. The company specializes in new construction, waterfront homes, golf course communities and retail properties from Fort Myers to Naples. Chiodo resides in Estero, FL.

Janice Galluzzo, BA 2001, compliance manager for Greater Buffalo Savings Bank, has been named vice president. She lives in Getzville, NY.

Jessie Kaye, MBA 2001, has been named chief executive officer of Prairie View, New York State's largest private behavioral and mental health services provider. She comes to Prairie View with more than 20 years of experience in non-profit organizations and most recently served as interim president/CEO of Gateway-Longview of Buffalo, NY. Kaye resides in Lancaster, NY.

Kim Pachetti, EdM 2001, is the director of sponsored programs at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, where she is responsible for securing academic grants. Pachetti is past director of human resources and research administrations at UBís School of Dental Medicine. She lives in Buffalo.

*Deborah Pawlowski, EMBA 2001, has joined the board of directors of Aspire. She is chair and CEO of Kei Advisors, which she founded with the firm of Jaeckle, Fleischmann & Mugel in July 2000. Pawlowski resides in East Amherst, NY.

Michael Rinaldo, BA 2001, has been named account executive at the Buffalo, NY, office of Hatch Leonard Naples, an independent insurance agency. He has nearly five years of specialized experience in insuring gas and oil industries and lives in Buffalo.

Evan Ahlheim, BA 2002, has been named project leader of 3D animation for Full Circle Studios, a Western New York video production company. He resides in Buffalo, NY.

Kristie Mack, BPS 2002, has joined King & King Architects of Manlius, NY, as an architectural drafter. In this position, she works on projects for the University of Roches-ter Medical Center and the Upstate Medical Center. Mack lives in Jamesville, NY.

Miche C. Needham, BS 2002, has been promoted to senior accountant in the tax department at Lumsden & McCormick of Buffalo, NY. In this position, she will be responsible for tax and accounting services to businesses and individuals. Needham resides in Tonawanda, NY.

Daniel N. Willkens, JD 2002, has joined the firm of Underberg & Kessler as an associate. He will work in the Rochester, NY, firm's litigation department and focus his legal practice in the areas of employment, matrimonial and personal injury law. Willkens is a member of the New York State and Monroe County bar associations and lives in Rochester.

Bonnie Yung, BA 2002, has received the Meritorious Contribution as a New Professional Award for her assistance in expanding late night and weekend activities for students on the Herkimer (NY) County Community College campus. She was instrumental in maintaining student activities information on the student intranet and providing students with 24-hour access to information on clubs, organizations, leadership opportunities, campus events and special programs. Yung is director of student activities at Herkimer and received the award from the College Student Personnel Association of New York State. She resides in Herkimer.

Marcy L. Zastrow, MBA 2002 & BS 1998, has been promoted to senior accountant at the Buffalo, NY, firm of Lumsden & McCormick. As a senior accountant, she will handle tax and accounting services to businesses and individuals. Zastrow lives in Tonawanda, NY.

Eric Burns, MBA 2003, has been named research assistant at Kei Advisors, an investment relations and business advisory firm. He resides in Cheektowaga, NY.

Kevin Christenson, BS 2003, has been named an inside salesperson at Trane, a heating, ventilating, air conditioning and building management equipment and systems manufacturer. He lives in Livonia, NY.

*Eileen M. Connor-Costilow, MBA 2003, has been named director of human resources at the Buffalo, NY, firm of Lumsden & McCormick. In this position, she will be responsible for payroll, employee benefits management, employee relations and other strategic human resource functions. She resides in Williamsville, NY.

Christopher Kicinski, BS 2003, has been promoted to senior accountant at the Buffalo, NY, firm of Lumsden & McCormick. In this position, he is responsible for services to commercial businesses, governmental entities and nonprofit organizations. Kicinski lives in Clarence, NY.

Shane Marmion, BS 2003, has been promoted to director of digital production by William S. Hein & Co. He will be responsible for overseeing all of the companyís digital production, including imaging, digital print, microfilm and HeinOnline. Marmion was working as manager of digital imaging until his promotion. He resides in Buffalo, NY.

Reshma R. Mehta, MBA 2003, has passed Level I of the chartered financial analyst examination. She is among only 36 percent of candidates to pass the Level I exam, which she took in December 2004, and is now qualified to proceed to Level II of the three-part exam. Mehta works for Brisbane Consulting Group, where her responsibilities include valuation of closely held businesses, professional licenses and degrees, forensic accounting and specialized research. She lives in Buffalo, NY.

Eileen Nahigian, DNS 2003, has been appointed to the board of directors of Upstate New York Trans-plant Services. She is the chief nursing officer for Kaleida Health and resides in East Amherst, NY.

Lauren Nast, MS 2003, has joined the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital in Elmira, NY. She is a certified registered nurse anesthetist and was appointed to the hospital's department of anesthesia. Nast lives in Elmira.

*Anthony Cammarata, BS 2004, has joined the accounting and auditing department of EFP Group as an associate. He resides in Penfield, NY.

Esther G. Eagan, JD 2004 & MS 1999, has been named an associate in the corporate department of Phillips Lytle of Buffalo, NY. She is a registered patent attorney and will focus on biotechnology and life science inventions as a member of the firm's intellectual property practice group. Eagan lives in Buffalo.

Cynthia A. Giganti, JD 2004 & BA 1993, has been admitted to the New York State Bar. She is an associate at the Buffalo, NY, office of Hodgson Russ, and focuses her practice on intellectual property and employment litigation matters. Giganti has also worked on cases involving contract disputes and patent infringement suits for prominent national corporations. She resides in Buffalo.

Britta L. Lukomski, JD 2004, was admitted to the New York State Bar. Lukomski is an associate at the Buffalo, NY, office of Hodgson Russ and concentrates on handling matters in all aspects of estates and trusts law, including estate and trust planning and administration, elder law, and Medicaid planning. Maradik will work primarily with the Portage Avenue commercial corridor and the Near Westside Neighborhood Partnership Center. She lives in Mishawka, IN.

Stephen P. McAndrew, JD 2004, has been admitted to the New York State Bar. He is an associate at Hodgson Russ of Buffalo, NY, and concentrates his practice in securities law, general corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. He resides in Buffalo.
