Swanekamp elected president of UB Alumni Association Charles C. Swanekamp, MBA '80 & JD '79, partner with the Buffalo, New York, law firm Jaeckle, Fleischmann & Mugel, has been elected to serve a two-year term as president of the UB Alumni Association. "I am looking forward to working with UB President John B. Simpson and the board of the UB Alumni Association to enhance the reputation of our university throughout the world," says Swanekamp. Other officers elected for 2005-06 are Marc A. Adler, MA '83, MBA '82 & BA '79, of Williamsville, director of client services for Flynn and Friends, first vice president and chair of the alumni association's development committee; Timothy P. Lafferty, BS '86, of East Aurora, chair of the UB partnerships committee; Thomas A. Palmer, JD '75 & MBA '71, of East Amherst, chair of the audit committee; Paul A. Quebral, MBA '92 & BA '86, of Williamsville, vice president and chief operating officer, Reid Petroleum Corp., vice president for finance; Kelly P. Sahner, EdM '93 & BA '91, of Park Slope, chair, communication and marketing committee; and Lawrence J. Zielinski, MBA '77 & BA '75, of Elma, second vice president and chair of alumni programs and events.
