Donald S. Teig, B.A. 1966, is a vision consultant for the West Indies Cricket Team, the New York Knicks, the New York Yankees and the Toronto Maple Leafs. In this position, he evaluates the visual-motor skills of players and sets up training programs for the teams. Teig lives in Ridgefield, CT. Kenneth H. Eckhert Jr., M.D. 1968, has been named president of the Erie County Medical Society. He is director of the Kaleida Health Breast Care Center and is also a founding partner of Breast Health Associates. Eckhert resides in East Aurora, NY. Martial Knieser, M.D. 1968, has been named president of U.S. Health Services. He is a partner with AmeriPath and a former director of laboratories at various community hospitals in Indianapolis, IN, where he resides. George E. Milo, Ph.D. 1968, has retired for a second time and has founded an Internet company that specializes in environmental health technologies (www.eht-con.com). He resides in Jacksonville, FL. Michael J. Quinn, B.A. 1969, has been appointed to the board of directors of SynCardia Systems, a privately held developer of biomechanical cardiac replacement and assist devices. He is the chair and CEO of CardioGenesis Corporation and resides in Cota De Caza, CA. Hatim Tyabji, M.S. 1969, has rejoined the eFunds Corporation’s board of directors. He is the executive chair of Bytemobile, a mobile data infrastructure company, chair of Datacad Group and ambassador-at-large for Benchmark Capital. Tyabji is also the recipient of the UB Alumni Association’s 2004 Clifford C. Furnas Memorial Award. He lives in Los Altos Hills, CA. |
