Lauren Rachlin, B.S. 1948, has been appointed to the Department of Commerce and the U.S. Trade Representativeís Industry Trade Advisory Committee on customs matters and trade facilitation. A partner at Hodgson Russ practicing in the firmís Toronto, ON and Buffalo, NY offices, he specializes in international business law with a primary focus on Canada. Rachlin assisted in creating the international law and practice section of the New York State Bar Association and served as the sectionís first chair. Founder of the Western New York International Trade Council, he lives in Buffalo.
