Wynn L. Bowman, J.D. 2000, has joined the firm of Hiscock & Barclay as an associate in the firm’s Rochester, NY, office. He is an experienced trial lawyer focusing on real estate and commercial litigation, as well as the general defense of personal injury and property damage claims. Bowman was previously an assistant public defender with the Monroe County Defender’s Office. He lives in Rochester.

Victoria A. Cooke, M.S.W. 2000 & B.A. 1996, is a part-time professor of gerontology and sociology in the liberal arts department at Villa Maria College in Buffalo, NY, where she resides.

Kurt J. Martin, B.A. 2000, has joined the firm of Patterson, Hansford & Hardy, located in Cumming, GA, as an associate. Martin received his law degree from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, GA in 2003. He lives in Gainesville, GA.

Eric L. McCabe, Ed.M. 2000 & B.A. 1998, is a pharmaceutical salesman with Pfizer Canada and a former volleyball coach at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA. He lives in Stratford, Ontario.

Gerald J. Richardson, B.S. 2000, is a military officer in the 82nd Airborne Division. He is stationed at Fort Bragg, NC, and recently returned from overseas duty in the war in Iraq. He lives in Sanford, NC.

Carl Kalithasan, B.A. 2001, is an international investment manager with Milestone Group Management, a securities firm dealing in equities, treasuries and derivatives. At Milestone, Kalithasan leads a team of securities dealers and traders. He lives in Long Island, NY.

Michael F. Kramer, B.P.S. 2001, is a home designer with Centex Homes in Sarasota, FL, where he resides.

Jing B. Liu, B.A. 2001, has been promoted to claims manager in training at BMW Manhattan. Before his promotion, Liu was a parts runner at the company. He lives in New York, NY.

Eric Miller, Ed.M. 2001 & B.A. 1999, is working at Boston University in the student activities office. In this position, he advises student organizations and plans major campus events. Miller lives in Brookline, MA.

Kristin E. Reimer, M.A. 2001, has been appointed public relations and development officer for the University at Buffalo’s Art Galleries, which include the UB Anderson Gallery and the UB Art Gallery. In this position, she will create a membership program, redevelop the UB Art Galleries’ Web site and promote the galleries’ exhibition schedule. She lives in Akron, NY.

Tammie Lee Demler, Ph.R.M.D. 2002 & B.S. 1992, is the director of pharmacy for the Clinical Psychiatric Pharmacologists at Buffalo Psychiatric Center. In May 2003, Demler received the Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacist Leadership Society Award from UB’s School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in recognition of her outstanding leadership and service to the pharmacy profession. She was installed for a second term as president of the Pharmacists’ Association of Western New York and a Region 12 representative to the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York in June 2003. She lives in Wheatfield, NY.

Sarah Loesch, J.D. 2002, has been appointed as an attorney for the Heritage Centers’ legal and advocacy services department. In this position, she will provide legal representation to children and adults with developmental disabilities in areas that include guardianship, Social Security disability benefits and medical assistance. Loesch resides in Buffalo, NY.

Ryan Martel, B.S. 2002, is an officer in the nuclear propulsion program for the U.S. Navy. He is stationed on the USS McClusky in San Diego, CA, where he resides.

Georgia L. Cole, Ed.M. 2003, is the office manager for Premier Home Construction and a substitute teacher for various schools throughout Western New York. She lives in Grand Island, NY.

Mary Dorritie, Ph.D. 2003, is a division psychologist with the U.S. Army stationed with the 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Casey in Tongducheon, South Korea, where she resides.

Holli B. Henning, M.A. 2003, is a school psychologist for three elementary schools in the Frederick County Public School District in Winchester, VA. She resides in Ashburn, VA.

Sam Karpel, B.A. 2003, is attending the New England School of Law in Boston, MA, where he resides.

Christopher S. Kicinski, B.S. 2003, has passed all four parts of the Uniform Certified Public Accounting exam and is now a staff accountant for Lumsden & McCormick in Buffalo, NY. As a staff accountant, Kicinski is responsible for auditing and accounting services to commercial businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals. He resides in Amherst, NY.

Elizabeth A. McPartland, M.S.W. 2003 & B.A. 1998, was appointed coordinator of the Amherst First Offender Diversion Program in September 2003. The program offers counseling and other services to individuals who are facing misdemeanor charges in Amherst Town Court. She has been an adoption specialist with Child & Family Services since 2001 and resides in Kenmore, NY.

Reshma R. Mehta, M.B.A. 2003, has joined Brisbane Consulting Group as a staff consultant. In this position, she is responsible for the valuation of closely held businesses, professional licenses and degrees, forensic accounting and specialized research. Mehta lives in Williamsville, NY.

Sachiko Uno, B.S. 2003, is a graduate student at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, where she focuses her studies on collective bargaining and dispute resolution. Her concentration is in human resources and organizations. Uno lives in Ithaca.
