Many opportunities, including those made available through the Alumni Ambassador program, networking opportunities and career receptions, fairs and events, are available for UB alumni to interact with future graduates.

On November 11, the UB Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Office of Career Services, hosted “Career Conversations,” an alumni-student evening of informal networking, in Pistachio’s Restaurant in the Student Union on UB’s North Campus.

More than 40 established alumni participated and lent their words of wisdom and encouragement about the working world to approximately 150 students. The students had a great opportunity to meet with a diverse population of talented alumni in a relaxed atmosphere, and to learn the inside scoop about a variety of careers. It was also an ideal way for alumni to stay connected with UB. One alumnus noted that the event “was a great way to tell students about our experiences, our careers and to get back in touch with UB!”

If you are interested in participating in an upcoming Career Conversation, contact Patty Klemann Starr in the Office of Alumni Relations at 1-800-284-5382, or klemann@buffalo.edu.
