Michelle Y. Rudnicki, B.A. '90, has been named associate director in the Office of Alumni Relations. A UB employee since 2001, Rudnicki was formerly director of development for the UB Center for the Arts. In her new role, she has multiple responsibilities that include long-term strategic planning, enhancing the alumni association membership program and increasing partnerships for improved services to alumni, overseeing financial and operational systems of the alumni office, as well as strengthening the internal partnerships among the Office of Alumni Relations, the Division of University Advancement and the university proper.

Before joining UB, Rudnicki served in various development positions throughout Western New York, including those at the Buffalo Museum of Science, the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy and the Evergreen Foundation of Western New York. A member of the Golden Key Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa, she is a summa cum laude graduate of UB with a bachelor of arts degree in communication and sociology.
