2000s Classnotes

Franklin D. Lancaster, M.B.A. 2000, has joined the firm of Einhorn Yaffee Prescott (EYP) as principal. Joining EYP with 17 years of architectural and engineering experience, Lancaster will be responsible for managing the Albany office's structural studio, overseeing quality assurance and providing design services for numerous clients. He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Project Management Institute. Lancaster resides in Getzville, NY.

Tracy L. Race, B.S. 2000, is a financial reporting accountant in the controller department at GEICO Direct in Chevy Chase, MD. Race previously worked in the Buffalo, NY, office of Ernst & Young LLP, before moving to Arlington, VA, where she resides.

Jennifer L. Abramowski, B.S. 2001, is an electrical/controls engineer with General Motors. She lives in Hamburg, NY.

Aldo Giammusso, B.A. 2001, is the founder of AldoMedia.com, a Web design, development and management firm in Buffalo, NY. He lives in Williamsville, NY.

Nance L. Schick, J.D. 2001, is the managing attorney of the workers' compensation division at McCarthy Small & Associates, located in New York City's Wall Street district. Before joining the firm, Schick held numerous positions in the sports administration field, working for such teams as the Louisville Redbirds baseball team and the Louisville Riverfrogs hockey team. Licensed to practice law in New York State in 2002, she also defends negligence and employment discrimination cases, as well as represents minor league hockey players and trainers in contract negotiations. Schick is an active member of the New York Road Runners Club, as well as the New York County Lawyers Association and the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York. She resides in New York, NY.

Danielle M. Baldassarre, J.D. 2002, has joined the Buffalo, NY, law firm of Damon & Morey as an associate in the litigation department. She concentrates her practice on personal injury and asbestos exposure defense. Before joining the firm, Baldassarre was a registered diagnostic medical sonographer. She resides in Niagara Falls, NY.

Jennifer A. Hemming, J.D. 2002 & B.A. 1999, has joined the Buffalo, NY, law firm of Chelus, Herdzik, Speyer, Monte & Pajak PC as an associate. In this position, she will handle the firm's litigation files, as well as real estate, family law, labor law, business and commercial ventures, and other general practice matters at the downtown Buffalo and suburban Cheektowaga offices. E. Earl Key, LL.M. 2002, is a new assistant district attorney for Niagara County, NY. He is working in City Court and collaborating with community groups, while making the prosecution of drug crimes his top priority.

Christopher M. Post, B.A. 2002, has been working with Goldhaber Research Associates, a market research firm in Amherst, NY, since May 2002. He lives in Williamsville, NY.

James Quinn, B.S. 2002, is an electrical engineer for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA. He is a volunteer emergency medical technician with the Fredericksburg Rescue Squad in Fredericksburg, VA, where he resides.

Christopher D. Smith, J.D. 2002 & B.A. 1998, has joined the Buffalo, NY, law firm of Damon & Morey as an associate. Working in the business litigation and insolvency department, he will focus on commercial litigation and bankruptcy. Smith resides in Orchard Park, NY.

Marc A. Spezzano, J.D. 2002, has joined Damon & Morey as an associate in the labor and employment department of the law firm's Buffalo office, where he will focus his practice on labor and civil litigation.
