1930s Classnotes

Joseph S. Bauda, Cert. 1939, was installed as honorary president of the Pharmacists’ Association of Western New York. Bauda was lauded for his accomplishments as past president of UB’s Pharmacy Alumni Association, Erie County Pharmaceutical Association, Galen Pharmaceutical Society and as honorary past president of the Pharmacists’ Society of the State of New York. He resides in Amherst, NY.

Elizabeth Pierce Olmsted Ross, M.D. 1939, received the Lucien Howe Medal, presented jointly by UB’s School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and the Buffalo Ophthalmologic Society. Ross has been in private practice in Buffalo since 1944 and began teaching clinical ophthalmology at UB in 1955. She lives in Buffalo, NY.
