James Youker, M.D. 1954, professor and chair of radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, received the Radiologic Society of North America's (RSNA) Gold Medal Award at the RSNA annual meeting in Chicago for having "rendered unusual services to the science of radiology." He is one of only four people to receive the award this year. He resides in Hartland, WI.

Jacqueline Koshian, J.D. 1959, has stepped down as New York State Supreme Court Justice, following more than 36 years of public service. State Supreme Court Justice Vincent E. Doyle said Koshian's "wisdom and elegance have enhanced the image of the judiciary in Western New York. We are losing a fine judge who is admired and respected for her knowledge of the law, fairness and commitment to excellence. She will be greatly missed and not easily replaced."
