Paul
E. Gatza, B.A. 1955, received the Distinguished Service Award
from the American Society for Testing and Materials’ Committee
D11 on Rubber. He was cited for the development and maintenance
of standards for seals and coated fabrics in the United States
and internationally. A resident of Alexandria, VA, he retired
as a materials engineer in 1997 following a long and distinguished
career with the Weapons Materials Directorate of the U.S. Army
Research Laboratory in Ft. Belvoir, VA
Rita
D. Ganim, Cert. 1957, is the president of Humor Happens Associates
in East Aurora, NY.
Ronald
Ley, Ed.M. 1957 & B.A. 1951, who retired from the classroom
after 40 years of teaching, was named research professor in respiratory
psychophysiology at the University at Albany.
Marvin
J. Migdol, B.A. 1959, was honored as an entrepreneur of the
year by Arthur Young and Co. and Venture magazine. He was cited
for his ingenuity, hard work and innovation in creating National
Franchise Marketing Services, one of a handful of franchise consulting
companies in the United States. He currently serves clients in
43 states, Canada and Puerto Rico.
