The recipient of the American Council of Higher Education National Award for excellence in international continuing higher education, she was previously associate dean and director of special programs for University College of Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She holds Ph.D. and masterıs degrees in speech and hearing science from the University of Wisconsin.
