Stuart A. Gellman, J.D. 1961, was recently appointed adjunct professor of law at the University at Buffalo Law School. He will teach a course involving the financial and valuation aspects associated with the matrimonial area of equitable distribution. This includes matters relating to the valuation of professional practices, licenses and closely held corporations.
Francis J. Bajer, Ph.D. 1963 & M.A. 1961, of Depew, N.Y., has retired from his position as Hayes Professor of Natural Sciences at the Buffalo Museum of Science. He has also served on the board of managers for the Western New York Science Congress and Safety Committee.
Barbara Hoffman Blum, B.A. 1964, a resident of Tucson, Ariz., is working in a program that promotes education for pregnant teenagers.
Bruce H. Begin, B.S. 1966, has been appointed director of 50th reunion programs at Williams College in Williamstown, Mass. He has received a number of honors during his career, including listings in Who's Who in the East.
James P. Booth, B.S. 1968, is a tax partner at Jacobs, Evall & Blumenfeld, a New York, N.Y., accounting firm. He and his wife live in Trumbull, Conn.
William G. Hoche, B.S. 1968, has been appointed director of international systems and procedures at Marmon/Keystone's corporate office. He will coordinate and assist in the development and support of all accounting and computer systems at the company's international locations in England, Belgium, Canada and Mexico.
Daniel Maxwell, M.B.A. 1968, of Clarence, N.Y., has been appointed senior vice president at the Holland Danahy Company, a regional insurance agency.
Richard C. Heffern, J.D. 1969, has been named managing partner at the Buffalo, N.Y., office of Bond, Schoeneck & King LLP.
