UB swimmers post top GPA in nation The Bulls, coached by Budd Termin, posted an overall grade point average of 3.36 in the Fall of 1995 to top second-place St. Louis University (3.34) and third-place Dartmouth (3.18). "Since moving to Division I in 1991, I have been lucky to coach some of the most dedicated student-athletes in the country," said Termin. "What they have accomplished not only in the pool but in the classroom is a testament to their tremendous work ethic, and speaks well for the entire university." Since upgrading to the Division I level five years ago, the Bulls have won four conference championships. UB saw a string of six straight conference championships snapped this season when they finished third in the Mid-Continent.

The men's swimming team recently posted the top grade point average in the country for the second time in three years, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America has announced.
