Donor-recognition wall salutes benefactors of athletic program "Donors of Distinction" features line art drawings of supporters who have endowed scholarships to UB athletics: Robert G. and Gloria L. Biedenkopf; Louis R. and Nancy C. Reif; Robert E. and Janet W. Rich, all of Buffalo; and Arthur W. Woelfle Jr. of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Also honored are Mr. and Mrs. Reg Newman; Dr. and Mrs. Charles S. Tirone of Williamsville; Buffalo Crushed Stone; Key Bank; National Fuel; and The Legend Group, all supporters of full annual scholarships for athletics. Fleet Bank, North Forest Civic Association, and Robert and Claudia Smolinski of Orchard Park were also cited for their support of annual tuition.

A donor-recognition wall, set against a mural by Jamey Monroe Solecki that depicts UB athletes and views of the North Campus, has been installed in the lobby of Alumni Arena. The wall was unveiled Jan. 26 during a dinner recognizing supporters of UB athletics. Also attending were members of the coaching staff and sponsored student-athletes.
