Charles N. Fulco, B.A. 1990, a freelance journalist based in the New York metropolitan area, recently concluded a six-month photographic assignment in the Northwest and Alaska.

Ivy Garbowitz, B.A. 1990, is a speech/language pathologist at the Matilda Cuomo First Step Early Childhood Center in New York City.

Michael P. Girard, B.S. 1990, received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and is an associate with Oliff & Berridge, an intellectual property firm in Alexandria, VA.

Heather Green, M.A. 1990 & B.A. 1988, was named chairperson of the new Computer Graphics Program at the International Academy of Merchandising & Design in Chicago, IL.

Brian Gugerty, M.S. 1990, the director of nursing informatics at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, was named Nurse of the Month in December 1994.

Martha M. Harris, J.D. 1990, Ph.D. 1986 & B.A. 1978, a former professor of chemistry at St. Bonaventure University and an environmental litigation attorney, has joined the Buffalo office of Buchanan Ingersoll, a law firm with one of the region's largest environmental law practices.

Chris Hoppe, B.P.S. 1990 & B.S. 1990, of Athens, NY, is a design engineer at Ryan-Biggs Association, a structural engineering company.

Ramesh Konakanchi, M.S. 1990 & B.S. 1988, formerly a software engineer for Community Health Computing in Houston, is now a third-year medical student at the University of North Texas in Fort Worth.

Jeffrey Markello, J.D. 1990, of Elma, NY, is a self-employed attorney practicing in the areas of criminal and family law, personal injury and civil litigation.

Tracy E. Meyer, Ed.M. 1990 & B.S. 1985, is an executive assistant at Bison Baseball, a subsidiary of Rich Products Corp. in Buffalo.

Patricia Alleyne Smith, M.D. 1990, a former staff physician for CompHealth in New York City, has joined HealthWays Family Medical Centers in Charlotte, NC as an internal medicine specialist.

Ashish I. Udani, B.S. 1990, is working as an application engineer at ABB Flexible Automation Inc. He is also nearing completion of a master's degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Stephen Bertino, B.F.A. 1991 & M.M. 1994, has been accepted into the doctoral program in music at Indiana University-Bloomington and is featured on a recent recording.

Hemant W. Dandekar, Ph.D. 1991 & M.S. 1988, of Chicago, IL, is a research and development specialist at VOP in Des Plaines, IL.

Roy C. Fazio, B.S. 1991, is involved with environmental work as a project engineer for Black and Veatch, an internationally recognized engineering consulting firm in Washington, DC. He recently received his master's degree in engineering management from George Washington University.

Kimberly La Paglia, B.A. 1991, is an attorney work product assistant at the law firm of Nixon, Hargrave, Devans & Doyle, in Rochester, NY.

Carmen M. Mosier, B.A. 1991, of San Diego, CA, chief executive officer of Psych Care Inc., a psychiatric nurse home health registry that designs programs for acute psychiatric patients, has been admitted to the New York Bar and will be admitted to the DC bar later this year.

Patrick J. Rao, B.A. 1991, has joined the law firm of Bond, Schoeneck & King, LLP in Syracuse, NY.

Allison Joy Schreiber, B.A. 1991, will receive her master's degree in special education and child life from the Bank Street Graduate School of Education in New York City.

Carolyn C. Shadle, Ph.D. 1991, is on the faculty of SUNY/Empire State College in Syracuse, where she directs a residency-based management degree program for adult learners. She is coauthor of The Changing Outplacement Process: New Methods and Opportunities for Transition Management.

Kristin L. Swyers, B.A. 1991, of San Francisco, CA, is a quality improvement analyst with the University of California/San Francisco Medical Center.

Julie Wasserman, B.A. 1991, is a figure skating coach and trainer of national and international competitors, a member of the 1995 Junior World Team coaching staff and a coach for the Harvey School in Katonah, NY.

Gary Yourman, B.A. 1991, of Old Bridge, NJ, is an operations analyst with Bristol-Myers Squibb's Pharmaceutical Research Institute in Princeton.

Boyd Olaf Adolfsson II, B.A. 1992, received a master's degree in teaching from Fordham University in May 1994 and is currently the education technology consultant for CompuCo Inc. in Ramsey, NJ.

Timothy R. Allan, Ph.D. 1992 & M.A. 1989, an associate professor at Trocaire College in Buffalo, was appointed chairperson of the social sciences department.

Joseph Arcara, M.B.A. 1992, has been promoted to coordinator of cost operations at Kimberly Clark Mill in Lagrange, GA.

David A. Cristantello, Ph.D. 1992 & Ed.M. 1976, has been promoted to vice president of development and administration at the Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute Inc. (formerly the Medical Foundation of Buffalo Inc.).

Christine Menges, Ed.M. 1993, of Amherst, NY, is a math teacher at Aurora Middle School in Lancaster.

Mark J. Schulz, Ph.D. 1993 & M.S. 1984, is an assistant professor of mechanical engineering at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, NC.

Matthew I. Schwonke, B.A. 1993, is the film curator at Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center and director of education programs at the Center for Exploratory and Perceptual Art, both in Buffalo.

Paul D. Seeman, M.D. 1993, a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, completed a six-month deployment to the Mediterranean and Adriatic Seas where he served off the coast of Bosnia-Herzegovina on the amphibious ship USS Gunston Hall, part of the USS Nassau Amphibious Ready Group (ARG).

Scott R. Spencer, B.S. 1993, graduated from the U.S. Navy Officer Candidate School Command, Naval Air Station in Pensacola, FL and was commissioned to the rank of navy ensign.

Deborah Kloker, M.S.W. 1994, is a mental-health psychotherapist for an outpatient mental health program at W.C.A. Hospital in Jamestown, NY.
